Errata moves between highly formalized composition and intuitive improvisation. Formed in 2017 by guitarist, cellist, and composer, Ishmael Ali, the unit also consists of Chicago Improvised Music staples Eli Namay (upright bass), and Bill Harris (drum kit & percussion). Their music exists, broadly speaking, between discernibility and noise, regularity and irregularity.
